Refund Policy

Beorx refunds are prorated for monthly plans using both elapsed billing time and quota usage. This policy is designed to be predictable, auditable, and visible before you confirm cancellation.

How monthly refunds are calculated

We calculate two ratios for your current billing cycle: a usage ratio (snapshot + extended usage weighted by unit cost) and a time ratio (elapsed days in cycle). The consumed value is the higher of those two.

Refund amount = charge amount × (1 − consumed value), with additional policy guardrails for minimum charge and late-cycle decay.

Worked examples (Pro at $39.99/mo)

  • Day 5, light usage (20/500 snapshot, 1/20 extended): estimated refund is around $33.32.
  • Day 3, heavy snapshot usage (400/500 snapshot, 2/20 extended): estimated refund is around $16.40.
  • Day 25, low usage late in cycle (50/500 snapshot, 3/20 extended): refund decays late-cycle and is around $6.68.

Exact values can change slightly because plan prices, quota usage, and policy configuration are computed at request time from the billing source of truth.

Policy guardrails

  • Self-serve refunds are limited to the current cycle window defined by product policy.
  • A minimum charge floor applies (at least one day equivalent).
  • A grace period may allow full refund for very low usage early in cycle.
  • Near cycle end, refund value decays smoothly toward zero.

What you see before confirming

The Account & Billing page shows a refund preview including:

  • Current charge and estimated refund amount
  • Snapshot and extended usage versus limits
  • Elapsed days in current billing cycle
  • Eligibility or ineligibility reason

If you confirm, refund processing is immediate and paid entitlements are removed as part of cancellation.
